Since I could remember I have always wanted to teach. I wasn't an excellent student when I was in school, however things changed when I was taught by a teacher that gave me hope. This teacher inspired me to pursue my dream outside of wrestling, and I eventually went to college after an awfully long journey.
Prior to college, I worked for 6 years as a McDonalds General Manager. I ran two McDonalds restaurants, and was awarded 3 Restaurant of the Year awards, and represented California in a worldwide McDonalds convention. During employment McDonalds, I worked as an ATM Service Technician for a company known as Diebold Nixdorf. I worked these two jobs, while attending school at Azusa Pacific University in order to obtain a Bachelors Degree in Liberal Studies. Although this portion of my life is over, I am still attending Loyola Marymount University in order to obtain my Masters in Urban Education. My goal in life, is to inspire students to raise their expectations. I want students to have the confidence to thrive, and excel in all aspects of life. I do not want students to get locked into work two full time jobs as I did for many years. I want to teach students how to not make this mistake; To gain an education that will last a lifetime. |
